Welcoming Students To The Global Economy Through Interactive Internet Learning

In January 2011, Denney Daetz was invited to present SIMPOLICON© to a group of approximately 50 professors, students, designers, and programmers at Columbia University, Teachers College, in New York City. SIMPOLICON© is a classroom computer simulation of international political relations, economic development, and environmental sustainability. It teaches critical thinking, ethical decision making, and international cooperation. It was awarded "Software of the Year" in 1984 by Classroom Computer Learning magazine and has been used by over 10,000 high school students since then.
